Social Media Link Analyzer

Paste a social URL to see its platform, username and canonical profile link, or type a handle to get matching profile links across every platform. Free and private.

Runs in your browser · nothing uploaded

Enter a social URL or a handle to analyze it.

A social link can be written many ways: with or without www, as a mobile link, with tracking junk on the end, or pointing at a single post rather than the profile. This tool reads a link and tells you the platform, the username and the clean profile URL it belongs to.

Give it a full URL and it breaks the link down for you. Give it a bare handle instead and it builds the candidate profile URL for that name on each major platform, so you can look up one username across the board from a single box.

How it works

  1. 1

    Paste a URL or handle

Enter a full social link, or just a @handle if you want profile links everywhere.

  2. 2

    Read the breakdown

For a URL, see the platform, username and canonical profile link. For a handle, see profile URLs across platforms.

  3. 3

    Copy the clean link

Copy the canonical profile URL, tidy and free of tracking parameters.

Questions about analyzing social links

What does canonical profile URL mean?
It is the clean, standard address for a profile, without www variations, mobile subdomains or tracking parameters. Two links written differently that point at the same profile resolve to the same canonical URL.
Does entering a handle check whether the account exists?
No. It builds the profile URL that handle would have on each platform. It does not visit those platforms or confirm the account is real, which is what keeps it private and instant.
Can it pull the username out of a post link?
In most cases, yes. For a link to a specific post or video, it still identifies the profile that posted it, wherever the username is part of the address.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The analysis is pure text parsing in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or logged.
