How to use it

    Drop in any model

    Drag a GLB, GLTF, STL, OBJ or PLY file onto the page, or click Open model. It loads from your device, and nothing is uploaded.

    Move around it

    Left-drag to orbit, scroll to zoom and right-drag to pan. Flip on Spin for a slow turntable, or Wireframe to reveal the mesh.

    Read and screenshot

    The info bar shows triangle count, vertex count and size. Save a PNG of the current view once you have it framed.

Frequently asked questions

Which 3D file formats does it support?
It opens the common mesh formats: GLB and glTF (the web and game standard), STL and OBJ (widely used for 3D printing and modelling), and PLY (often used for scans). Drop in any of these five and it renders in the same viewer.
Is my model uploaded, or does it stay in the browser?
It stays in the browser. The file is read and rendered on your own device and is never sent to a server, so a large confidential model is as private as a small one. There is no sign-up and no upload queue to wait in.
How do I move the camera around?
Left-drag orbits around the model, scrolling or pinching zooms in and out, and right-drag pans it sideways. The Reset button reframes the model if you lose it off screen, and Spin turns it for you hands-free.
How big a file can it open?
The practical limit is your device's memory and graphics, not a cap from us. Typical models open in a second or two on a normal computer; very heavy meshes in the tens of millions of triangles can load slowly or strain a phone.
