Frequently asked questions

Can this remove a password I don’t know?
No. This is not a password cracker. It removes protection from PDFs you are allowed to open — you need to know the password, or the file must carry only owner restrictions and no open password.
Which password should I enter?
Use the owner password for a guaranteed unlock. A user (open) password works for opening the file, but may not be enough to lift every restriction.
Can I unlock several PDFs at once?
Yes, as long as they share the same password. Add the batch, enter the password, and download all the unlocked files as a zip.
