Frequently asked questions

How does it keep the teams even?
It shuffles the names, then deals them out one at a time across the teams, so the sizes differ by at most one person. Splitting 11 players into 3 teams gives you teams of 4, 4 and 3, with the earlier teams getting the extra member when the total does not divide evenly.
Can I set the team size instead of the number of teams?
Yes. You can either say how many teams you want, or how many people each team should hold, and the other figure is worked out from your list. Either way the split stays as balanced as the numbers allow.
Can I reshuffle if I do not like a split?
Yes. Generate as many times as you want; each press reshuffles the names into a brand new set of teams, so you can keep going until it feels right.
