If your email signature image is not showing, the cause is almost always the link behind it. The image needs to live at a public web address that anyone can reach, not on your computer or a private drive. Fix the hosting and the picture appears for recipients. Here is how to track down which problem you have.
The image is on your computer or a private drive
Email signatures do not carry the picture with them; they link to it. If the link points to a file on your machine or a private cloud folder, only you can see it, and everyone else gets a broken icon. Move the image somewhere public, copy the public link, and paste it into the Photo or logo URL field in the signature generator.
The link is wrong or expired
A small typo, a link that has changed, or an image that has been deleted all produce the same broken result. Open the image link in a private browser window. If it does not load there, recipients will not see it either. Replace it with a working public link.
The image is embedded rather than linked
Pasting a picture straight into the signature box can create an embedded image that many clients strip or block. Host the file at a public URL and link to it instead. The reasoning is covered in HTML email signature tips.
The recipient has images turned off
Some email apps hide remote images until the reader clicks to load them. This is a setting on their side, not a fault in your signature. A correct public link will display once images are shown, and most people leave loading on.
Quick checklist
- The image opens in a private browser window.
- The link starts with
https://. - The image is hosted publicly, not on your device.
- You copied the signature again after fixing the link.
