To add a signature in HubSpot, build it here and press Copy signature, then open your profile settings → Email → Signature, choose the editor view that lets you paste rich content, paste it in, and save. Here is the walk-through.
Step by step
- In the signature generator, enter your details, choose a layout, and press Copy signature.
- In HubSpot, click your account menu and open Profile & Preferences (your personal settings).
- Go to the Email section and find Signature.
- Switch the signature editor to the edit or simple view that accepts pasted content, click in, and paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V).
- Save. HubSpot will append this signature to emails you send from the CRM.
If your view shows raw HTML instead, copy the signature HTML from the generator and paste that into the HTML field.
How it works with sequences
HubSpot can add your signature to one-to-one emails and to sequence steps. The risk is doubling up: a template that already contains a signature plus an auto-appended one. Check the settings for each send path so the signature is added exactly once.
If the image doesn’t show
HubSpot links to your signature image rather than storing it, so the photo or logo must sit at a public web address. Host it publicly, copy the link, paste it into the Photo or logo URL field in the generator, then copy the signature again.
Keep it tidy
CRM emails are often part of a longer thread, so a compact signature reads better on every reply. See what makes a good email signature for the essentials.
