To add a signature in Yahoo Mail, build it here and press Copy signature, then open Yahoo Mail’s Settings → More Settings → Writing email, switch the signature on for your account, paste into the box and the change saves on its own. Here is the full walk-through.
Step by step
- In the signature generator, fill in your details, pick a layout, and press Copy signature.
- In Yahoo Mail on the web, click the gear icon at the top right, then More Settings.
- Open the Writing email section and find Signature.
- Turn the signature on for your email address, then click into the box and paste (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V). Your formatted signature appears with working links.
- Yahoo saves the setting as you go, so there is no separate save button.
Send a test message to yourself to confirm it looks right.
If the image doesn’t appear
Yahoo links to your signature image rather than keeping a copy. The photo or logo needs to sit at a public web address, so host it on your site or a cloud drive with public sharing on, copy that link, and paste it into the Photo or logo URL field in the generator. Then copy and paste the signature once more.
On the Yahoo Mail app
The mobile app keeps its own signature, separate from the web, and it is usually plain text. For a formatted signature, rely on the web version, which travels with messages you send from a computer. There is more on this pattern in how to add a signature on iPhone.
