Set a speed below 1x, such as 0.5x for half speed or 0.25x for a quarter. The clip plays back slower and runs longer. Bear in mind that slowing footage cannot add frames, so very low speeds on standard video can look slightly choppy.
Does changing the speed keep the audio in sync?
Yes. The audio is re-timed along with the picture so they stay together. Within a sensible range the pitch is handled so sped-up speech does not turn into a chipmunk and slowed speech does not drone, though extreme speeds will still sound unusual.
